A: 23 years as founder of Mike Mariola Restaurants

A: Problem solving and getting to try new features!
Q: How has your company impacted Wayne County? And vice versa?
A: Wayne County is a hidden Ohio gem! When we started South Market Bistro many said Wooster couldn't support a chef-driven, local, seasonal, fine dining establishment but the opposite was true. Wayne County enthusiastically supported South Market Bistro and has continued supporting local restaurant growth, which has led to a dynamic, high-quality mix of restaurants. We employ over 140 team members in Wayne County, who are all committed to our purpose: Enriching our community by creating connection, happiness and opportunity.
Q: What does the WEDC mean to Wayne County?
A: Wayne County's stability and success is not an accident. We have an amazing group of leaders who are fully committed to the success of our community. WEDC represents one of those critical leadership forces that help guide Wayne County to sustained achievement.
Q: Why did you decide to join the WEDC Board or Advisory Council?
A: I think the hospitality industry is a critical component to every healthy economy, and I am honored to represent my industry. I believe I can help the local hospitality industry identify ways to contribute and build alignment with the continued growth in Wayne County.
