Myers Industries buys auto parts supplier Mohawk Rubber Sales

Myers Industries Inc. has acquired Mohawk Rubber Sales of New England Inc. to expand its distribution capabilities.
Akron, Ohio-based Myers (NYSE: MYE) didn’t provide terms of the transaction except to say the company financed the deal with its revolving credit facility.
Founded in 1932, Mohawk Rubber Sales is an auto aftermarket distributor and a leading provider of tire repair distribution across traditional and online channels. The company is based in Hingham, Massachusetts and has four distribution centers in Hingham; Alpharetta, Georgia; Salt Lake City and Houston. Mohawk’s revenue was $65 million in 2021.
