Experience the Seasons

Wayne County's climate offers the chance to experience the best of all four seasons. Summer months are warm and sunny with average high temperatures ranging from 78 to 82 degrees.  Autumn months are cool and dry, bringing with them with spectacular foliage visible throughout the county.  Winters are milder than other midwestern cities with average highs ranging from 33 to 37 degrees and snowfall averaging approximately 32 inches - perfect for skiing and other outdoor activities. Breezy spring months set local parks, gardens and farms in full bloom as the temperature warms into the 70's.
